This is the part of mersey-tram.com where I am allowed to express my opinions, pass on unsubstantiated rumours and generally editorialise. After all, what is the point of running a web site if you can't use it as a soapbox? You have been warned!

3rd February 2004 - Useless Web Site
My original reason for launching this web site back in January 2003 was because there was no official information about the Merseytram project available on the web. A couple of weeks later, when Merseytram started their own site, I was disappointed to see that it was long on style and short on quality and content. One year later this remains the situation: As I write, the newest item on the Latest News page is seven months old.
I don't know how much of our tax money Merseytram are spending on this but I can tell them that it only takes a few hours a month to keep a news page up to date. I suppose as long as his photo stays on the home page, at least Councillor George Howard will be happy.
